Trench,

Welcome to Tennessee Anglers. We would appreciate it it you'd post a reply below telling us about yourself. An introduction of sorts. Maybe answer some questions like: Where do you fish? What do you fish for? What area are you located? How did you find us? If you soon find yourself wondering why you can't find the fishing reports or maybe why you can't post in the classifieds, it's because you need to make 10 posts or replies first. This is something our members voted on. It helps foster lively discussion while at the same time it cuts back on spammers and one post (boat for sale) wonders. Finally, don't be afraid to click those buttons up top. Even though most of the action here is in our forums, there are a lot of cool features and great people here. Please feel free to browse around and get to know others. And if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

Don't forget to start your own album in our gallery too.

Thanks for joining.

Hi, Y'all,

Just came across your site trying to learn about the right gas for an outboard motor.

I am completely new at this, bought a little fishing boat and do not know what I am doing.
I have bank-fished at Fort Loudon, some at Tellico near the damn. Have not fished off the boat yet.
Still waiting for my big fish to come and take my bait. :)

Thanks for the welcome!

Forgot to mention that I am on the west side of Knoxville, so my fishing area is mostly Fort Loudon, Melton Hill, Norris Lake, Tellico, and hopefully some rivers in the Smokies.

Nice to read ya!    I think there is some members here that fish your water.  It's a bit slow sometimes but they're here.

You might try google to learn more about you motor.   But as a general rule of thumb I've always tried to use regular , ethanol free, fuel.  My engine is 2005 model.   If it's a four stroke you should call the manufacturer as the one I had called for specific octane.

Keep us posted as what you catch.
