Trailcam Pics

Recommended Posts

I know it's fishing season but was curious what was on my camera at the lease so I made a run over yesterday. Not a single deer pic, but lots of hogs, some coyotes, and a couple bobcat. I have to wonder what the coyote is looking at in the first pix.

I don't  hunt anymore, but curious as to where the pics came from?  I have heard coyotes chasing their prey(?) at Douglas Flat Creek area,  but never saw like the pics here. dada  3-11-19   1;19 pm

Feds (USDA?) used a sharpshooter from a chopper last year to try and thin them out. Never heard if they killed any/many. Obviously we still have plenty.

Never heard of em doing that.  Up in north carolina on a hunting lease we had a few years ago, we worked with the game wardens and they set up a remote controlled cage and lured em in with corn. Once we caught all we could we killed em. Only catch was no one could keep any of them to eat. We ended up with 53 in 2 days.

I wanna see a Panther. I saw one with a pair of kittens about 100 yards away from the Calderwood Powerhouse back in the 70's. We went to Chihowee to fish and got there very early. We decided to go up to the powerhouse to see how hard it was generating. It was still very dark when up from the water came the mother cat, with a long tail, followed by two young ones. Right through the illumination of our headlights ran the 3 of 'em headed back into the woods. There were a few back then, now....??? There's been a couple of 'em hit by cars over in North Carolina in recent years. I'm rooting on Panthers and Yetis to show up for portraits.....
