OldRH,

Welcome to Tennessee Anglers. We would appreciate it it you'd post a reply below telling us about yourself. An introduction of sorts. Maybe answer some questions like: Where do you fish? What do you fish for? What area are you located? How did you find us? If you soon find yourself wondering why you can't find the fishing reports or maybe why you can't post in the classifieds, it's because you need to make 10 posts or replies first. This is something our members voted on. It helps foster lively discussion while at the same time it cuts back on spammers and one post (boat for sale) wonders. Finally, don't be afraid to click those buttons up top. Even though most of the action here is in our forums, there are a lot of cool features and great people here. Please feel free to browse around and get to know others. And if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

Don't forget to start your own album in our gallery too.

Thanks for joining.

I mainly fish for crappie. I fish mainly on Ft. Loudon. I used to fish Clinch River below Norris Dam ever since l was young, but my dad died, (who first took me up there and many other places. Plus the guy l used to fish with up there on Norris moved away). I also fish below Ft. Loudon dam, and on Tellico Lake some. I used to fish Little T before it became Tellico Lake and Chillowee Lake with my dad. I would like to start river fishing on Holston/French Broad for Smallmouth/Sauger/Walleye/or whatever fish are in rivers. I have a Jon boat and canoe, but don't know enough about river fishing to chance my canoe skills up on Holston/French Broad and my Jon boat might be too big for low water. Upper Douglas in French Broad, upper Clinch on Norris, upper Holston on Cherokee interest me also but have only been on Douglas around Nina Creek/Swans bridge for crappie in winter/early spring but that was years ago and l don't know if l could still find the channel in low water. Below Melton Hill for Walleye/Sauger or up in the lake is also an interest. I used to fish in Little River/Tellico for trout. I mainly spin fish, but would like to learn how to baitcast cranks/plastics/jerkbaits etc.
